Chris Cornell’s Cause of Death Has Been Determined

Chris Cornell’s death has officially been ruled a suicide by hanging, according to CBS New York.

We woke up to the news that the Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman had passed away. Rumors quickly surfaced that it was a suicide, but that’s news no one wants to believe until it has been ruled true.

Cornell was found dead in his hotel room at the MGM Grand Detroit Wednesday (May 17) night. He was 52 years old.

My heart goes out to Chris Cornell’s family, friends, and fans during this tough time.

Cornell recently collaborated with the Zac Brown Band on the album Jekyll + Hyde on a song called “Heavy is the Head.” It’s probably my favorite collaboration to date.
