Maverick 102.7 and Candy 95 to be the radio partners for Chilifest 2015
Bryan Broadcasting is proud to announce that Maverick 102.7 and Candy 95 will be the radio partners for Chilifest 2015.
Maverick 102.7 is the newest radio station in Bryan/College Station, debuting this past August, and Program Director Adam Drake says he could not be more thrilled for it to be a part of Chilifest in its first year.
“I love Chilifest and what it stands for. Yes it’s a big party with two days of music, but it’s so much more than that,” says Drake. “The best part of Chilifest will always be the great things that they do with charities throughout the Brazos Valley. It’s truly one of a kind event and I’m so glad we get to be a part of it this year.”
Candy 95, Aggieland’s Home for Hit Music, came on board as a radio partner last year and have more big things planned for 2015.
“In late 2013 we started doing a Battle of the Bands contest at our weekly event at Ozona,” says Tucker Young, Program Director for Candy 95. “We wanted to be there for the Chilifest board and help them in whatever way we could. After last year, we’ve come up with some things that will make this next year really special. Teaming with Maverick, we think we’re really going to kick things up for 2015!”
For over 23 years, Chilifest Inc. has been able to give sizable contributions to many local organizations and charities, which have totaled over two million dollars since its inception.
