Keith Urban Once Got Dumped Because His Accent Ceased Being Cool

There’s a very good chance that you and KEITH URBAN have something in common.  And it’s NOT the good looks, mad guitar skills, or being married to an Oscar-winning actress.

I’m talking about the time you got your heart smashed into pieces.  It happened to Keith back in the ’90s when was living in Nashville, but before he was famous.

He said, quote, “I was on the phone with this girl I was dating.  She’s trying to break up with me.  I’m saying, ‘What the hell?  What’s going on?  What’s happened?’

(CAREFUL)  “And she said, ‘For [eff’s] sake, can’t you see that the novelty of you has worn off?'”

Keith said his accent “being a novelty to somebody” cut him to the core, and was a “turning point.”  After that he “stepped up” his drinking and drug use until, eventually, he entered rehab in 1998.

Brett Eldredge Is the First Artist to Record a Music Video at Wrigley Field

BRETT ELDREDGE’s “Wanna Be That Song” video was filmed at Wrigley Field . . . and that’s a big deal.  He says, quote, “It’s the first music video ever shot at one of the most historical sporting facilities in the world.”

It was also a dream come true because he’s a “lifelong Cubs fan” who grew up in Illinois, went to games there as a kid, and even did a year of college at a Chicago suburb.

Randy Rogers Had to Convince His Band To Do a “Stone-Cold Country” Album

You might think RANDY ROGERS calls all the shots in the RANDY ROGERS BAND, right?  Wrong.  He told“Rolling Stone” that he had to persuade the guys in the band to go old-school country on their “Nothing Shines Like Neon” album.

Quote, “I [tried] to convince the band to put out a stone-cold country record for years and years.  I grew up listening to early ’90s country that doesn’t sound like anything [that’s out] today.  The record is a country album because we wanted it to be.”

Stoners, this may be the best chance you’ll ever get to light up with WILLIE NELSON.  He’s hiring people to work at Willie’s Reserve Colorado, which is his marijuana business.  According to the job posting, he’s looking for the “highest” caliber of people.  Stop giggling.  (Here’s the link.)
