Chris Lane Blew a Chance to Have Bryan Cranston in His “Fix” Video
Here’s a good example of why you should always go with your instincts. CHRIS LANE was going to ask BRYAN CRANSTON to be in the video to his song “Fix”, but then chickened out because he was sure he’d get shut down.
In case you don’t know the background: The song features the line “Walter White high,” which is a reference to Bryan’s character in “Breaking Bad”.
Chris said, quote, “I wanted that to happen so bad. But we were just like, ‘He’s not gonna do it. Let’s not even waste our breath on it.'”
Bad move, because the video got noticed by . . . you guessed it. Chris says, quote, “Bryan Cranston Tweeted, ‘Hey, @IAmChrisLane, the next time you sing a song that mentions my name, at least let me be a part of the video.'”
Chris joked that he thought about reshooting the video, but didn’t.
Brad Paisley Sang at Tyler Farr’s Wedding
TYLER FARR married his girlfriend Hannah Freeman on Monday. The ceremony was on a farm near Nashville and the stars showed up. JASON ALDEN was the best man, and the other groomsmen included LEE BRICEand COLT FORD.
Tyler’s recent touring mates MADDIE & TAE were also there . . . but the highlight was BRAD PAISLEYperforming his song “Today” for the bride and groom.
Brad posted a clip to Twitter and captioned it, “Extremely honored to perform ‘Today’ for my friends. Love y’all.”
Dierks Bentley Gave Cam a Wad of Cash as a Wedding Gift
CAM had a pile of money waiting for her when she returned from her honeymoon on Monday. DIERKS BENTLEY stuffed a wad of cash into a drink coozie and gave it to her as a wedding gift. Not exactly elegant, but it was exactly what she needed.
She says, quote, “I bawled. Anybody who knows what it’s like to NOT have a lot of money and be stretched for cash, that’s probably one of the sweetest things. He’s like, ‘I remember what it was like . . . it’s really stressful.'”
Dierks actually apologized because he wanted to give her a “specific gift,” but she told him this was better because she’s putting the money to good use, paying for the wedding and a new house.
TANYA TUCKER came down with a bad case of pneumonia and had to cancel her shows over the weekend . . . as well as all future shows until further notice. (Full Story)
