Are These Offensive Tweets Really from Blake Shelton?
Somebody who clearly has it in for BLAKE SHELTON “found” a bunch of controversial Tweets that he supposedly posted several years ago. They’re all racist, misogynistic, or homophobic . . . and they’re disgusting.
We’re also thinking they’re NOT real because they’re screenshots of posts from 2011 or earlier that have been deleted. We all know Blake’s had to apologize for saying stupid stuff on Twitter, but these are nasty. Here are a couple:
“Wish that [D-head] in the next room would either shut up or learn some English so I would at least know what he’s planning to bomb.”
“I was 19 years old when my heart first got broken. I’m over it now but I wonder what that fat, ugly [B-word] is up to.”
As of last night there’s been no word from Blake about this, so until he weighs-in, I’m going to assume this is someone who wants to take him down a notch, or is just trying to get publicity. (You can check them out, here.)
“Forest Fess-ups” with Chase Rice
SoundsLikeNashville.com did a game of ‘Forest Fess-Ups’ with CHASE RICE. It’s where they ask a question and he has to “fess up” with the truth.
He said his favorite ’90s TV show is “Saved by the Bell”. He admitted that he had beer for breakfast THAT morning. His “must-have” on his tour bus is his journal. Quote, “I’ve been journaling for 15 years now.”
The oldest thing he owns is a 1970 Dodge Challenger with a 426 Hemi that he built that with his dad. Asked when he was starstruck, he said it was when he saw GARTH BROOKS for the first time.
And his first job was managing the family farm in Florida and Tennessee. Quote, “My dad would make me and my brothers Bush Hog the fields.” (Check out all of Chase’s ‘Forest Fess-Up’ answers, here.)
BRAD PAISLEY is doing another “Country Nation College Tour.” This one will kick off September 4th in Orlando, Florida . . . and then hit West Virginia University on September 9th . . . and Ohio State University on September 15th. More shows will be announced later this month. You can check for updates at BradPaisley.com.
SHANIA TWAIN got a shout-out from DRAKE during his show in Nashville. He told the crowd that his next set would be a “love set for Shania.” She posted a clip of it on Facebook and wrote, “This was my view. Thank you, Drake.”
FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE released video of a live version of “H.O.L.Y.“. It’s from a Pandora Presents performance earlier this month in Nashville.
