Maren Morris Would Like to Eat Healthy, But She’d Rather Do Coffee
I have a feeling the caterers on Sam Hunt’s “15 in a 30 Tour” are serving up some tasty food. And by tasty, I’m talking about stuff that’s NOT good for you. MAREN MORRIS is one of the openers and she faces a food struggle every day.
Quote, “I try to eat healthy, but it’s hard, especially when there’s really good catering. It’s like, ‘Oh god, this is open for the next 10 hours. But I’m a caffeine fiend, so I always just get the coffee in catering, and then walk around.”
One more thing about Maren: She colored her hair pink and proudly posted a photo of it. She captioned it, “My colors are blush and bashful.” That’s a reference to a line in the movie, “Steel Magnolias“ starring Julia Roberts, Sally Field, and Dolly Parton.
Keith Urban Is In the Studio Recording New Music
KEITH URBAN hit up Twitter the other day with a photo of a mixing board. And in case you need a clue, he captioned it, “Back in studio.”
He also did an interview about his process while he’s in there. He says it’s organic and unpredictable. Sometimes he’ll record a song and know right away that it sucks. But most of the time he needs to finish the entire album before he knows what he has.
That’s when he’ll whittle it down even more, and then figure out which of the remaining songs will be the singles, which will be the bonus tracks, and stuff like that.
CHARLES KELLEY and DAVE HAYWOOD recorded a parody of Sam Hunt’s“Body Like A Back Road”. It’s called “Party In A Bathrobe” and that’s what the two of them and their crew are wearing in the video. It’s about being on the road, and the whole thing takes place in one of Lady Antebellum’s trailers.

JOSH ABBOTT announced his engagement to his baby mama, Taylor Parnell. He posted the news on Twitter along with a photo of their two-month-old daughter Emery Farryn. She’s wearing a onesie that says, “Mommy, will you marry daddy?” He captioned it with, “She said yes.”
• “Words“, Sara Evans. This is the first release from her own label, Born to Fly Records, and it features contributions from fourteen female songwriters.
• “27861“, Parmalee. The title is the zip code for the band’s hometown in North Carolina. The album includes their current single, “Sunday Morning”.
