Miranda Lambert Was “Running Wild” When She Moved to Nashville

  MIRANDA LAMBERT didn’t get anywhere near the bad press that haunted BLAKE SHELTON during their breakup.  He’s the one who had to keep defending himself . . . and even filed a lawsuit to clear his name.

So what was she doing?  Well, she wasn’t moping around Texas crying in her beer.  She moved to Nashville to get back into the thick of the music scene, and while she was at it, she did a little partying.

She talked about it yesterday in an interview.  Quote, “When I first got [to town] I was running wild in midtown, but then I calmed down.”  It’s not what you think, though.  To her, running wild means doing what she wants.

Quote, “I just do my own thing, and drink Miller Light, and hang out with my friends, but people just are sweet.  Nashville’s awesome, and nobody cares.  Everybody who is anybody that’s my hero lives here.  When I see them out I don’t bug them.”

Asked WHO she would bug for a photo, she went with FAITH HILL.  But she’s too chicken to bother her for a pic.  Quote, “Every time that I’m around [her] I turn into a complete idiot.  I don’t know why.  She’s just so pretty and awesome.”


It’s Official: Shania Twain Will Be Debuting New Music This Weekend

This is for reals, people.  SHANIA TWAIN is releasing a brand new song in June.  It’s called “Life’s About to Get Good” and she’s going to perform it THIS Saturday at the Stagecoach Festival in California.

It’s the first single from her long-awaited next album, which will be out in the fall.

Her last studio album was “UP!”, which came out back in 2002

Madea is a Huge Tim and Faith Fan

Here’s a fun sentence:  Madea loves TIM MCGRAW and FAITH HILL.  Yep, TYLER PERRY, who’s made a zillion dollars on those “Madea” movies, went to one of their shows and was blown away.

Here’s what he said about it on Twitter.  Quote, “Saw one of the best concerts I’ve seen in years.  Tim and Faith #Soul 2 Soul Tour.  Trying to find another city to go again.  I love these two!”

Tim saw the post and responded, “Great to see ya, man.  Come on out whenever you want.”

 

You know what Nashville needs?  According to JOHN RICH, more swimming pools shaped like guitars.  He posted a photo of the one under construction at his house, and he wrote, “‘Bout time Nashville had a new, big ole guitar-shaped pool.”.

AARON WATSON got his stolen guitar back.  He posted a photo and wrote, “My guitar was returned.  A Good Samaritan came across it and was able to obtain it and return it.  Thanks to everyone for the re-Tweets and shares.  Woohoo.”

SARA EVANS is launching her own record label called Born To Fly Records.  The first release will be HER next album.  There’s no word yet on a title or release date for that.  (Full Story)
