Chris Young Left a $200 Tip on a $77 Bill
CHRIS YOUNG was very pleased with the service he got during a recent visit to Chili’s. His bill came to $77 . . . and he left a $200 tip. He also wrote a note on the receipt saying, “Bills suck, your service was great.”
A relative of the person who served him posted a photo of the bill on Facebook. They wrote, “This is an amazingly beautiful thing you did, and I want to say thank you on behalf of the Chili’s bartender that served you tonight. She’s my cousin.”
Thomas Rhett Used to Sit in the Cheap Seats at CMA Fest When He Was Young
This is kind of surprising. At least to me. Even though THOMAS RHETT is the son of singer-songwriter RHETT AKINS, he still had to sit in the cheap seats when he went to CMA Fest from middle school through college.
Despite the crappy view, he and his buddies loved every minute of it. Quote, “Being able to go downtown, set up in the parking lot, bake in the sun all day, and sit in the nosebleed tickets, and watch all four nights was the best.”
Obviously, things have changed. He started performing on those same stages, and worked his way up to being a star. Quote, “It’s come full circle and it’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced.”
As you know, he and BRETT ELDREDGE are co-hosting tonight’s “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock”. The show starts at 8:00 P.M. on ABC.
JUSTIN MOORE’s new album “Kinda Don’t Care” is out August 12th . . . and he’s promoting it with FOUR quick shows in FOUR different cities. He’s in Little Rock on August 15th, Nashville on the 16th, and Charlotte, North Carolina on the 17th. And then on August 19th he’ll open for BRANTLEY GILBERT in Indianapolis. (ABC)
TIM MCGRAW does guest vocals on FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’s new song “May We All”. It’s the second single from their album “Dig Your Roots”, which is out August 26th. (Listen to it, here.)
