HILLARY SCOTT revealed the inspiration behind her song “Thy Will”, and it’s heartbreaking. She told “Good Morning America” that she wrote it last fall after having a miscarriage.
Quote, “I wrote this song experiencing everything that comes in the middle of a miscarriage. It was my most raw place that I could’ve ever been when this song truly poured out of me.”
She was also feeling pressure to stay quiet about it. Quote, “It’s something that’s not talked about that often. It’s like you’re just supposed to be able to snap your fingers and continue to walk through life like it never happened.”
“Thy Will” is on the album “Love Remains”, which will be out July 29th.
The band’s official name is Hillary Scott & The Scott Family.
