Dolly Parton is Not Canceling Her Show in North Carolina
DOLLY PARTON is NOT canceling her June 3rd concert in Greensboro, North Carolina . . . but that doesn’t mean she’ll be ignoring the so-called “North Carolina bathroom law.”
She did a phone interview on Monday with the “Winston-Salem Journal” and made it clear that she WILL be talking about it during her performance. She said, quote, “I have no plans to cancel the show.
“I believe that everybody ought to be treated with respect, but I feel we will serve better from the stage. I don’t like to get caught up in controversial issues. I will address whatever I need to from the stage.” (Winston-Salem Journal)
CHRIS STAPLETON lost his voice and had to cancel last night’s show in Santa Barbara, California. He apologized to his fans on social media on Monday, and promised to find a makeup date. His next scheduled shows are tonight in Los Angeles . . . and Saturday at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California.
VINCE GILL debuted a new song recently at the Grand Ole Opry and the title pretty much says it all. It’s called “A World Without Haggard”, and he performs it with his TIME JUMPERS bandmate (slash) steel guitar player Paul Franklin. (Video)
