Luke Bryan Goes Shirtless and Uses Salty Language When He’s Backstage
LUKE BRYAN did a “what really happens backstage” episode of his “LBTV” web series. One thing we learned is that he’s very comfortable being shirtless for an extended period of time around other dudes.
He and his crew watched viral videos of hover board accidents and he was the only one not wearing a shirt.
We also found out he uses salty language when he’s frustrated. He was trying to film a promotional video but he kept messing it up, and then swearing. That’s interesting because he tries pretty hard to project a clean-cut image to the public.
(You can check out the video, here. The shirtless hover board part comes first. The heavily bleeped outtakes begin at 1:07. Careful: Although Luke’s cussing is bleeped, it may not be suitable for air. Especially the part at the 1:38 mark where he bleeps the word “God,” but leaves “damn” uncensored.)
Scotty McCreery’s Next Album Will Have a “More Traditional” Sound
SCOTTY MCCREERY has about “10 songs in the can” for his next album, but that doesn’t mean he’s letting up. He says, quote, “We’re always working on new music. Always writing and trying to find that next idea. That next song.”
The album’s sound is starting to take shape too. Quote, “It’s probably leaning a step or two back towards the stuff I grew up on. A little more traditional, whether that’ll be lyrically or sonically or musically.” He’s planning to release it later this year.
KEITH URBAN was REESE WITHERSPOON’s personal guitar player when she sang “Sweet Home Alabama” at her 40th birthday party on Saturday. (Here’s a clip.) Other stars at the party included Taylor Swift, Laura Dern, and Kate Hudson. (Check out more photos, here.)
KENNY CHESNEY is doing a free “Keg Show” in Key West, Florida today. It’s a tuneup for his Spread the Love tour, which kicks off April 23rd. (Sounds Like Nashville)
TIM MCGRAW wants you to see his giant catch. He posted a photo of him on a boat posing with it. He captioned it, “Morning fishing trip . . . 50-pound wahoo.”
There’s another great performance from last week’s “The Life and Songs of Kris Kristofferson” tributeconcert. This one features REBA MCENTIRE doing Kris’s “Me And Bobby McGee”, which was a #1 hit forJanis Joplin in 1971.
