Carrie Underwood Wants You to Do Your Homework . . . About Politics
“Rolling Stone” was able to get CARRIE UNDERWOOD talking politics, which is cool. And she wouldn’t give the slightest hint about where she stands politically, which is even cooler.
She wants people to figure out what’s important to them, and then do a little digging. Quote, “More than anything, I want people to do their own homework. I don’t want anybody to vote for someone because I told them to.
“I want them to find out about things they’re passionate about and what’s important to them and look at different candidates and policies. And try to make their own decisions. That’s where I stand, and I go and cast my vote like everybody else.”
She does, however, speak her mind when she’s around the people she trusts. Quote, “My husband and I try to keep up with what’s going on, and my mom and I solve the problems of the world on a daily basis in our phone conversations.”
Thomas Rhett Fell Off The Stage on Friday
THOMAS RHETT was performing in Charlottesville, Virginia on Friday when he accidentally walked off the stage and into the front row. Fortunately, no one was injured and the show went on . . . even as he lay there singing with one leg still on the stage.
A couple of fans had their smart phones ready. One posted a video and captioned it, “@Thomas Rhett. I captured you falling off the stage tonight on video. Definitely the highlight of the show.”
Another posted an up-close video and wrote, “Thomas Rhett fell off the stage into us and I literally have never fan-girl’d so hard.”
