Miranda Lambert and Anderson East Went Skiing Over the Holidays
“People” magazine shed a little more light on MIRANDA LAMBERT’s relationship with ANDERSON EAST. They’re already serious enough to go on vacation together. They spent New Year’s on a skiing trip.
And although I have no proof whatsoever, I’d like to think that photo of their “real snuggle” was taken at a ski lodge.
They met while working on a compilation album called “Southern Family”, which sounds like an interesting project. A producer asked his favorite artists to contribute songs about how they grew up, their families, and all the things that make them who they are.
Other artists on album include Zac Brown, Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, Shooter Jennings, Brandy Clark, John Paul White, Holly Williams, and Jason Isbell. “Southern Family” is out March 18th.
One last thing about Miranda. A source also claims, quote, “She’s happy. She’s looking forward to the new year.” So, there’s that.
Carrie Underwood Loves the Feel of a CD in Her Hands
CARRIE UNDERWOOD is in the business of selling records, so maybe there’s some bias here . . . but she’s convinced you’re missing out if you don’t buy the physical CDs.
She says quote, “I’m one of those old school people that I like to go out and buy an album. There’s something about holding it in your hand. You have the CD, you can put it in the car. You see the pictures, the words.
“There’s so much love that goes into creating an album and a lot of times I feel like people miss it because they’re not physically holding it in their hands.”
BACKROAD ANTHEM decided to release the video to their song “Torn” as a tribute to CRAIG STRICKLAND who passed away after getting caught in Winter Storm Goliath. You can check out the video on the band’s Facebook page.
CHRIS STAPLETON had a monster 2015 . . . but was still his humble self while reflecting on it at the end of the year. Quote, “Nothing I could’ve thought would’ve happened would be as good as this year has been. I’m just going to enjoy the moment as much as I can [and] try to enjoy that as much as I can because it may never ever happen again. So I’m just thankful for it.”
JUSTIN MOORE let his daughters give him a makeover that included a new hairdo with multicolored clips, hair ties, and ribbons. And because he’s secure in his manhood, he posted of photo. He captioned it, “I look like I need a drink. Ha-ha. Just a normal Sunday makeover.”
BROTHERS OSBORNE brought in LEE ANN WOMACK to sing backup on their song “Loving Me Back“. It’s on their album “Pawn Shop”, which is out January 15th.
