Brad and Carrie Will Be Telling Ashley Madison Jokes at the CMAs
The CMAs are still a few weeks away, but BRAD PAISLEY and CARRIE UNDERWOOD are already bragging about all the great jokes we’ll be hearing in the monologue.
Brad talked about it backstage at Tuesday’s All for the Hall benefit. Quote, “It’s a great year to host an awards show because there’s just a lot of funny stuff. This election has been just amazing. They give us sound bites . . . we can’t keep up.
“And God bless . . . I guess that’s the wrong thing to say, but God bless Ashley Madison.” Carrie interrupted to make sure everyone knew he was referring to the Ashley Madison hack.
He continued, quote, “No, not the website, of course not. Although I’m glad it exists at this point, as hosts of that show. If anybody has the right to deal with a cheating website, it’s [country music.]”
Thomas Rhett’s Rules For Avoiding Temptation: No Girls on the Tour Bus, and No Kisses on the Cheek at Meet and Greets
THOMAS RHETT seems to have a pretty solid marriage. And he clearly wants it to stay that way because he actually created a set of “married couple” rules that keep him on the right path.
He says, quote, “I think the more guidelines and barriers you have when you’re away from each other is important. Like on the road, girls can’t come on my bus, they can’t kiss me on the cheek during meet and greet. Those things just don’t fly.”
He also avoids temptation by surrounding himself with other people who’ve completely given up.
I mean, other people who are in committed relationships.
Quote, “Pretty much all the guys in my band are married too, which makes it a lot easier. I try to surround myself with people that align their values along the same line as mine. You have to set it up so you’re never in the situation to screw up.”
BLAKE SHELTON announced the first leg of a winter tour. It’ll kick off February 18th in Cincinnati, Ohio . . . and run through March 19th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Details are at BlakeShelton.com. No Texas dates yet…
LUKE BRYAN hired actors to play the two horny couples in his “Strip It Down“ video. There are also scenes of him somewhere else, alone, playing the piano and singing.
