“Old Guy” Garth Brooks Fried His Phone and Lost Six Months of New Music
GARTH BROOKS was asked if he’s been working on new music. He has, but we may never hear it because he’s 53 years old. I’ll let him explain, quote, “I [am] but my problem is, and here’s where the old guy gets into technology, which is bad.
“All the new stuff that I’ve been working on for six months was on a phone that’s been fried, and I can’t get it to come back up . . . and I know I should have backed it up. Still working on that phone, but we’ll get it.”
Thomas Rhett Wears a Football Helmet While Watching His Georgia Bulldogs
THOMAS RHETT is one of those “superfans” who believes his loyalty can help his team win. In his case it’s the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He says, quote “I’m most superstitious about college football.
“Every time I watch the Bulldogs play, I always wear my jersey and my helmet . . . every time. I wear the jersey the whole time, but when Georgia actually has the ball, my helmet has to go on, which is super random. It works half the time.”
KACEY MUSGRAVES did a benefit concert recently in her hometown of Mineola, Texas . . . so the local Car Club honored her by restoring a ’67 Mustang that she and her dad worked on years ago. She posted a photo and a big thank you on Instagram.
