Kenny Chesney Brought a Girl with Down Syndrome to the Stage . . . and Granted Her Wish of a Kiss On the Lips
There was a really cool moment at KENNY CHESNEY’s concert on Saturday in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He invited a woman with Down syndrome to join him on stage . . . and she was so delightful she stole the show.
She asked if she could say a few words, so he handed over the mike, and off she went. She said that Kenny’s her true love, and then added, quote, “He inspires me, and I want to kiss him right now on the lips. Do you want to see it?”
Yep, she was working the crowd. That’s so pro. Kenny was happy to oblige so he wiped the sweat off his lips and kissed her. But she wasn’t done. She shared how his music helped her get over abuse when she was younger.
She literally had the crowd of over 58,000 people in her hands . . . and when she sensed her time was up she up she asked the audience if they wanted to see more of Kenny. You couldn’t script anything more spontaneous and heartfelt.
