Happy Birthday to Terri Clark 47 years young today!
Luke Bryan is getting his own Yankee Candle Scent “Kill The Lights” in Two Days!
Yankee Candle describes Luke’s “chart-topping fragrance,” as “A traditional warm-me-up on a cold winter’s day—a mug full of something steaming topped with a layer of thick vanilla cream and laced with a dash of strong bourbon. Warm and sweet, just like Luke!” Candle scent will hit stores the same day that his new album drops.
Jake Owen Accepted a Twitter Invitation to a College Kid’s 21st Birthday Party
JAKE OWEN is still rewarding fans who reach out to him on social media. This time it was an Ohio State University student who invited him to his 21st birthday party. Jake was in town doing a show that night and took him up on it.
The kid’s name is Eric Bennett and he says, quote, “My house is about a 15-minute walk from the concert, so I told him [the address]. He drove over with a couple of his friends and hung out for about a half hour with us.”
They enjoyed beverages, talked college football, and Jake even picked up a guitar and did a few songs. Here’s a pic of them hanging out.
Naturally @jakeowen shows up to my cousins house for his 21st bday in Cbus.. Wish I was celebrating with you both! pic.twitter.com/Nkp5P0TPyy

Shawna Thompson is Pregnant
Not everyone in country music is getting divorced. SHAWNA and KEIFER THOMPSON of THOMPSON SQUARE are still going strong after 16 years of marriage. Even better, they’re expecting their first baby in January.
They announced the good news yesterday on Twitter, saying, “Well, we have decided not to be a duo anymore. #January 2016 #Baby On Board”
Keifer also told “People”, quote, “We’ve been together for a long time and we’ve done a lot of things, and we felt there was something missing. We love the music business, but we didn’t want to deprive ourselves of having a family.” She’s 37, he’s 39.

Merle Haggard Says Prisons Are America’s Biggest Business
MERLE HAGGARD did some time behind bars back in 1957, so I guess that qualifies him to educate us on the state of America’s penal system.
He tells “Rolling Stone”, quote, “I believe that if you break the law and get caught, you should go to jail.
“But we’re in a hard time now, with all the trouble with police in the cities. Prison’s the biggest business in America. You got the money, you can build a prison out in Nevada and it’ll be filled before you finish building it. That’s a fact, and that’s a shame.”
People.com sent someone with a GoPro to hang out backstage at the CMA Music Festival. They got video of just about everybody acting goofy. Stars include Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Cole Swindell, Maddie & Tae, RaeLynn, Randy Houser, and Brett Eldredge.
A YouTuber named Ben Ryan Metzger is getting a lot of hits from his a cappella version of LUKE BRYAN’s“Kick the Dust Up”. He sings like ELVIS and dances like MICHAEL JACKSON. Kinda.
