Reba McEntire and Narvel Blackstock Are Ending Their 26-Year Marriage
REBA MCENTIRE and Narvel Blackstock announced they’re separating after 26 years of marriage. She’s 60, he’s 58. They have one son together, racecar driver Shelby Blackstock. They released this statement yesterday:
“Narvel and Reba announced they’ve been separated for the past few months. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they continue to support each other. They’ve worked together for 35 years and will continue to do so.
“They have asked that you respect their privacy during this time.” The “working together” refers to their professional relationship. He’s her manager and it sounds like that’s not going to change.
His company also reps BLAKE SHELTON and KELLY CLARKSON. Kelly’s married to Brandon Blackstock, who is one of Narvel’s three children with his first wife. Reba’s first marriage ended in 1987.
Brett Eldredge Will Be a Celebrity Judge at Next Month’s Miss America Competition
BRETT ELDREDGE gets to be one of the celebrity judges at the next “Miss America Competition”, which is going down September 13th on ABC. In honor of that, People.com decided to toss some totally stupid questions at him.
They actually asked if the swimsuit category is his favorite. He deflected that by saying it’s a great category but the talent part “says a lot about a person.”
They also asked if he’ll give Miss Illinois an automatic vote, seeing as that’s his home state. (???) He promised to only pick the contestants who are “awesome, talented, bright, and have it together.”
KIP MOORE announced the dates of his “Wild Ones” tour. It’ll kick off October 8th in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and run through December 5th in Richmond, Virginia.
