Chris Pratt Got into Character for “Jurassic World” by Listening to Eric Church’s “Dark Side”
CHRIS PRATT tells “GQ” that he listened to ERIC CHURCH’s song “Dark Side“ to help him get into character while filming “Jurassic World”.
He also used Eric’s name in a mantra he’d repeat to himself right before the camera would roll. It was: “Flow core, no TC, volume up point five, Eric Church.”
According to “GQ”, “Flow core” would remind Chris to use his paddle-boarding posture. “No TC” reminded him to lead with his forehead so he wouldn’t have a triple chin. “Volume up point five” was his way of telling himself to speak loudly.
And saying “Eric Church” reminded him of “Dark Side”, which he listened to over and over again because it had, quote, “the darkness in the character it encapsulated.”

A. Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band
B. Justin Moore
C. Mallary Hope
D. James Otto
E. Clara Henningsen of The Henningsens
F. Chris Janson
ANSWER: F. CHRIS JANSON, in a “Billboard” interview, when asked what he’d do if his song “Buy Me A Boat“ made him a million dollars.
He adds, quote, “As long as my family is set and secure with their livelihood, I’m happy. Like the song says, money can’t buy everything . . . it can buy a boat, but I don’t even know if I want a boat. Maybe an upgrade on the house or something.”
Chris wouldn’t say no if someone gave him a boat . . . but it better come with a detailed instruction manual. He says, quote, “I don’t sail, I wouldn’t know the first thing about a boat except how to get on it and how to not wreck.
“I never even thought about buying one, I’m just hoping somewhere along the line one will just appear in my life.”
