Blake Shelton “Saved” Some Guy Who Was Stranded On the Side of a Road
Depending on the source, either BLAKE SHELTON was a hero who pulled some guy out of “high water” in a flash flood. Or, the dude was just stranded on the side of the road and Blake stopped his car and gave him a ride.
Here’s what we do know: Blake was on his way to an Oklahoma airport on Wednesday when he saw a fellow named Roho Hartman in need of a helping hand. He pulled over and gave Roho a ride . . . and then they posed for a photo.
The pic was posted on Facebook and went viral. By the way, someone in the comments section said “Roho” is the dude’s nickname . . . and I’m inclined to believe that. There’s been no comment from Blake on any of this.
In other, much sillier Blake Shelton news:
Yesterday was his 39th birthday so “People” put out a video of country stars wishing him well . . . and just about every one of them decided to swear. It features greetings from Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes, Chase Rice, and former “Voice” contestants RaeLynn, Cassadee Pope, and Danielle Bradbery.
Country Stars React to the Shootings in South Carolina
Several country stars took to social media with comments about Wednesday’s shooting in Charleston, South Carolina. Here are a few posts:
Darius Rucker, who is from Charleston and still lives there, wrote: “I don’t know what to say. I am in utter shock. Thoughts and prayers to our community and those families affected by this horrible tragedy.”
Brad Paisley: “Praying for Charleston. God be with those families and that community.”
The Band Perry: “We are heartbroken by the recent shootings in South Carolina. Our hearts and prayers are with you, #Charleston.”
Mickey Guyton: “Praying for Charleston. My heart hurts.”
Jake Owen: “I’m so saddened and sick to hear the news about the situation in South Carolina. This world is a beautiful place, but ignorance still exists.”
SAM HUNT’s “House Party“ video is wall-to-wall footage of him and his band performing, goofing off . . . and doing all the stuff artists do when they’re on the road.
KATIE ARMIGER would like you to ignore her former record company’s statement about her “taking a breather.” She says those are, quote, “Not my words, and certainly not my intention.” (Full Story)

BILLY CURRINGTON was a solid high school football player who was getting attention from college recruiters when he was a junior. But then his grades tanked and he wasn’t allowed to play his senior year. (Billboard)
CAM’s next single is called “Burning House“. It’s very low-key . . . and very good.
