   JASON ALDEAN and BRITTANY KERR opened up the checkbook and threw themselves a fancy engagement party last Saturday in Nashville.  It was at some place called the Luxe Citizen Club, and there were around 100 guests.

Jason’s good buddies LUKE BRYAN and ERIC CHURCH were there, but the rest of the guest list was mostly family and close friends.

If you’re into engagement party stuff then perhaps you’re excited to hear there was a six-tiered, white-frosted cake, which was on a pedestal surrounded by candles.  Each guest was greeted with a glass of champagne when they arrived.

There was also a photo booth with props so people could take silly pics.  Jason and Brittany did just that, wearing eyeglasses that had the words “groom” and “bride” written on the lenses.  You can check out photos atUsMagazine.com.

There’s no official word on a wedding date, but everyone is saying it WILL happen sometime this year.

MIRANDA LAMBERT is in a series of Ram Trucks commercials performing a song she wrote called “Roots and Wings”.  The commercials also feature still photos from her personal family collection, plus landscapes that are part of her life.

SHANIA TWAIN found a way to squeeze more money out of her Vegas run.  She’s releasing a CD / DVD package called “Shania:  Still the One:  Live From Vegas”.  It’s out March 3rd exclusively at Walmart, but you can preorder limited edition packages through her website at ShaniaTwain.com.

JO DEE MESSINA will have the honor of singing the National Anthem at Sunday’s NHL All-Star Game.  (All Access)

Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, and Brad Paisley are headlining this year’s Faster Horses Festival, which will be held July 17th, 18th and 19th in Brooklyn, Michigan, about 36 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.

“The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” – Taraji P. Henson, Ryan Seacrest, and Maddie & Tae.

 “Saturday Night Live” . . . from 11:30 P.M. to 1:00 A.M. on NBC.  Blake Shelton hosts and also performs as the music guest.
