Don’t forget to watch tonight at 7p on ABC to find out the rest!
MIRANDA LAMBERT and MEGHAN TRAINOR are performing “All About That Bass” at tonight’s CMAs. And Miranda talked about it in an interview on Monday.
She said, quote, “I’ve not met Meghan yet, but we’ve been texting back and forth.” If it doesn’t sound like she’s worried about rehearsal time, it’s because the song is already IN her head.
She said, quote, “We’ve listened to [it] probably about a thousand times this summer on the tour, so I already know it. It’s a song about positive body image and kind of rocking what you got, and I am all about that.”
“I think we’re probably going to feel like we’ve known each other for a while. Probably feel like we’re kindred spirits. Maybe we’ll spike up a friendship and write up some songs together. That would be amazing. She’s a great writer.”
And now . . . an Instagram video of KACEY MUSGRAVES twerking in the middle of a Target. Her boyfriend Misa Arriaga posted it, and called it, quote, “the good old fashion target twerk.” It’s only about ten seconds long, but you’ll thank us for it.
[KaceyMTwerk]“USA Today” took a look at the Twitter popularity of several nominees at tonight’s CMAs . . . and then imagined who would win if the results were based on TWEETS.
In one example, they showed a time-lapse map of the U.S. that displayed the number of Tweets about each CMA Entertainer of the Year from January through the end of October.
In that one, Luke Bryan totally dominated fellow nominees Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, and Keith Urban. Twitter also broke down the Song of the Year category, showing which nominated songs got the most Tweets in each state. Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” destroyed the competition, coming in first in 47 states. The results were compiled by Twitter’s data team . . . who knew there was such a thing. CountryWeekly.com announced that CHRIS YOUNG is the winner of their “Sexiest Man” contest. He got the most votes in their online survey. You can check out the runners-up by picking up the November 17th issue.
In case you missed this: “Entertainment Tonight“ did a behind-the-scenes look at CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S“Something In The Water” video. It features 16 choir members, and 12 dancers led by “So You Think You Can Dance” choreographer TRAVIS WALL. Did we mention you can see Carrie’s little baby bump?
